About Near

Lighting with purpose

Near was founded by Albert Hoo Electrical Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based company with deep roots in electrical and lighting expertise. From our base at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, we set out to create smart lighting that does more than illuminate — it supports wellbeing.

Our approach draws on the connection between light, mindfulness, and mental health. We design products that help you shape your environment intentionally, whether that means a calm, warm glow for winding down or bright, focused light for getting things done.

Every Near product reflects our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service. We stand behind what we make and are here to help you get the most from your smart home.

When a premium domain name like this one becomes available, buyers and sellers enter a carefully structured process designed to protect both parties. Secure payment methods and buyer protection programs ensure that funds are held safely until the domain transfer is fully completed. The seller lists the domain at a minimum price, and interested buyers can submit offers or negotiate directly through the platform. Once a transaction is agreed upon, the buyer is redirected to complete the payment through verified and reliable channels. The entire process is designed for fast and easy transfer, with support available every step of the way to close the transaction smoothly.

Domain marketplaces provide a flexible environment where personal negotiations can take place within a secure framework. Each listing includes clear terms, and the domain remains protected throughout the sale process. Buyers can enter their offer amount, select their country, and provide basic contact information to initiate a purchase. The platform ensures that all submitted offers are reviewed fairly, and both parties can communicate through secure channels without sharing private details prematurely. This structured approach to domain transactions gives confidence to both sellers and buyers, making the process of acquiring a memorable web address straightforward and trustworthy.

Smart lighting for conscious living

In a blog post titled "Lighting for mindfulness" (June 30, 2018), we explored how intentional lighting choices can support mental clarity and relaxation. That philosophy remains central to our product development.

We've also tackled common misconceptions — our "True or False? Myths about Smart Homes" post (January 20, 2021) helped homeowners separate fact from fiction when considering smart home technology.

Whether you're starting with a single smart bulb or automating your entire home, Near is here to guide you toward a more thoughtful, connected living space.
